Sphaenognathus feisthameli inhabits the mountainous regions of northern South America.
Its metallic body is covered with white hairs, giving it a unique, subdued charm that sets it apart from ordinary stag beetles, appearing both metallic and matte depending on how the light hits it.
Species of Sphaenognathus are not commonly available, and Sphaenognathus feisthameli is a relatively rare species, making it a special find for collectors.
