A1... A specimen in good condition with no missing parts or damage. (For insects of usual size, this includes perfect specimens with no missing parts, and good condition repaired specimens.)

AA-... Slight damage, such as a minor chip on a claw, but otherwise in good condition. (Includes repaired items with minor imperfections.)

A2... Significant damage or missing parts, such as missing tarsi or antennae.

B... Not suitable for specimen collection. Can be used for art creation or parts salvage.

Uninspected... A specimen that has not been inspected. Conditions vary.

~ About shipping ~

Spread specimens will generally be shipped fixed in a simple specimen box made from processed styrofoam and a plastic container. We recommend transferring them from the simple box to a wooden specimen box upon arrival. We will pack carefully to prevent damage, but very rarely, parts may come off due to vibrations during transport. We cannot offer compensation in such cases. Please purchase only if you are able to perform repairs to some extent yourself, or if you understand the risks involved.

Note: Insects vary from very large to very small species. Especially for small insects, even after inspection, there is a slight risk of overlooked damage or damage during transport. Due to the nature of specimens, there may be invisible conditions such as internal decay or issues related to processing methods at the collection site. Please allow for slight errors in size. Species names will only be listed if a detailed species name is known. We are not familiar with all insects, so misidentification may rarely occur.
