A1: A specimen in good condition with no missing parts or damage. (For insects of standard size, this includes only complete specimens with no missing parts, and also good condition specimens that have been repaired.)

AA-: Good condition with minor damage, such as a slight chip on a claw. (Includes items that have been repaired but still have minor imperfections.)

A2: Significant damage or missing parts, such as missing tarsi or antennae.

B: Not suitable for specimen collection. Can be used for art creation or for parts recovery.

Uninspected: Specimen has not been inspected. Conditions vary.

~ About shipping ~

Spread specimens are generally shipped fixed in a simple specimen box made of processed Styrofoam and a plastic container. We recommend transferring the specimen from the simple box to a wooden specimen box upon arrival. We take great care in packaging to prevent damage, but occasionally parts may detach due to vibrations during transport. We cannot guarantee against such occurrences. Please purchase only if you are able to perform repairs yourself to some extent, or if you understand and accept this risk.

Note: Insects vary from very large to very small species. Especially for small insects, even after inspection, there is a slight risk of overlooked damage or damage during transport. Due to the nature of specimens, there may be unseen good or bad conditions, such as internal decay or handling methods at the collection site. Please allow for slight discrepancies in size. Species names are only listed if a detailed species name is known. We are not familiar with all insects, so misidentification may occasionally occur.
