Pinned specimens are generally shipped secured in a simple specimen box made from processed styrofoam and a plastic container. We recommend transferring them from the simple box to a wooden specimen box upon arrival. We take great care in packaging to prevent damage, but occasionally, parts may become detached due to vibrations during transit. We cannot offer compensation in such cases. Please purchase only if you are able to perform minor repairs yourself or are willing to accept the risk.

Note: Insects vary in size from very large to very small. Especially for small insects, there is a slight risk of overlooked defects even after inspection, or damage during transit. Due to the nature of specimens, there may be unseen good or bad conditions, such as internal decay or processing methods at the collection site. Please allow for slight discrepancies in size. Species names will only be provided for those that can be identified with certainty. As we are not experts in all insects, misidentification may occasionally occur.
