A1... A specimen in good condition with no damage or defects. (For insects of normal size, this includes perfect specimens with no missing parts, as well as those that have been repaired and are in good condition.)

AA-... Good condition with minor damage, such as a slight chip on a claw. (Includes repaired items with minor imperfections.)

A2... Significant damage or defects, such as missing tarsi or antennae.

B... Not suitable for specimen collection. Can be used for art production or parts harvesting.

Uninspected... A specimen that has not been inspected. Condition varies.

~About shipping~

Spread specimens will generally be shipped fixed in a simple specimen box made of processed styrofoam and a plastic container. We recommend transferring them from the simple box to a wooden specimen box upon arrival. We take great care in packaging to prevent damage, but parts may occasionally detach due to vibrations during transport. We cannot offer compensation in such cases. Please purchase only if you are able to perform some repairs yourself or are willing to accept this risk.

Note: Insects vary from large to very small species. Especially with small insects, even after inspection, there is a slight risk of overlooked damage or damage during transport. Due to the nature of specimens, there may be invisible conditions such as internal decay or issues related to handling methods at the collection site. Please allow for slight errors in size. Species names will only be provided for those that can be identified in detail. As we are not experts in all insects, misidentification may rarely occur.
